Holstein 2-Star Pernambuco Cello Bow

Wonderful bow!

I am very happy with the Holstein 2-star Pernambuco cello bow. First of all, it was beautifully made: great color and varnish with all details finished perfectly. I could not find any aesthetic defect in my bow! When I drew the first sounds, I immediately noticed the difference than my cheap carbon fiber bow. I felt lot more vibrations passing from the body of cello to the bow and thus to my bow hold hand. The sound is warm, clear and more resonant, compared to the relative dull sound made by my cheap carbon fiber bow. In summary, it is a great bow and I absolutely love it.

It has such a nice look to it and it was definitely a very good upgrade from my basic student bow. I even have an easier time using/holding it due to the even balance.
