Very easily installed and will stll allow the instrument to fit in the case. I'm still working on getting the best sound with it.

Makes violin sound too electric

I was looking for something to replicate the actual sound of the violin as closely as possible. This unit added mass to the bridge and muted the sound even when not amplified. The amplified sound was very tinny, and did not sound at all like an acoustic violin. If you want the electric sound, then this might be suitable for you. However, if you are looking to keep the acoustic sound, I would look for a different pickup. This unit will be retired to my box full of spare violin parts.

Loved the service and product! I don’t know if I misread anything but the pickup didn’t come with a cord to connect to an amp. I tried to use the cord from an earlier pickup I had but it didn’t fit! My husband saved the day by finding an adapter and I went on to perform in a backyard mariachi concert! Thanks!
