Very well made tailpiece. Clean workmanship. Holes and slots are crisp and clean and consistent. I used a stradpet Hill style titanium fine tuner on the E and it did require some slight modification. Which I had anticipated A traditional Hill style fine tuner would likely fit up as received. Much lighter than the ebony tailpiece it replaced. I can’t say how the tone is affected, changed strings at the same time from Zyex to Violinos, and the tailgut from a Sacconi type to a titanium tailgut - so the change was a dramatic and much improved tone, but likely the strings have the greatest impact on this.

Vary beautiful tailpiece! It seems to have improved the sound quality on the G string. I would absolutely buy this tailpiece again :)
