Saved a battery charger from the scrap pile

Replaced a burnt up rectifier on an older Snapon branded charger. I had ordered a negative charge rectifier by mistake but called customer service and we straightened out the issue and got the charger charging again.

100+% Yes it is 50 years old and yes they had the parts to fix it.

When I was 13 years old I got my father a big battery charger for the shop and it got used a lot. Then 50 years latter it let out a pop and some smoke. That is when I found PLP battery Supply and the good part was they had all the parts I need to fix it and they know what it was and know what I need to do. Thanks you so much.

Rectifier

I got a upgrade part for the old charger. It was a 60 amp Dayton but Chris helped me and i got a 100 amp rectifier kit for it and it works Great! Better than new. Now I'm gonna get new gauges for it, thank you.
