Very roomy large checked luggage

It will feel more secure if you get some external luggage straps - especially if you use the 2” extension which might make the zipper more vulnerable to luggage handling abuse. I’m personally a carry-on aficionado, but sometimes you need more and cannot avoid checking. Seems perfect for hauling and checking things like scuba gear (which we will be doing) and want 4 wheels rather than a large sports duffel or backpack to haul to the check-in counter or taxi after arrival. Ditto for a very long stays with the need to pack for changing weather and/or a variety of activities (formal and informal) at your destination(s). Will be put to a test on our next scuba trip - I’m optimistic.

I think this will be a stronger suitcase, and it is 162 linear inches, which meets the guidelines I need. It also received some awards, and I think the price was fair!
