Partly necessary, partly not.
The delrin spacer (for between the frame and subframe) is definitely necessary to drive the bushing in effectively. However, the metal spacer did not contribute at all. The subframe bolts are not long enough to reach enough threads with the metal spacer in. In the rear, I used the subframe brace plate instead of the spacer. In the front, I used the existing metal "washer" from the old bushings to evenly drive in the delrin bushing. This kit would've been made infinitely better by including a slightly longer bolt used exclusively to start the bushing into place before switching to the actual subframe bolt.
