I ordered this fountain plug, as the description specifically states it is to seal the plug cord in the fountain between 1"-1½" female socket. When I received it, which took some time because of customs from Canada, it measured at 2". That plug should have a description of 2" or greater. A total waste of money and shipping (costing the same as the product). I would have been fine with paying that much, if it actually fit. It isn't worth returning because I will have to pay the shipping again. The actual size is 2" minimum with a measuring tape. It would have worked great if they actually made a 1"-1½" plug. Don't waste your time or money.

Very happy with the product. Fits perfectly and my fountain does not leak.

The perfect solution

My fountain had been loosing water since I bought it. After two years of stopgap solutions I ordered this plug and voila no more loss of water. I wish I had know of this solution two years ago.
