Love It but…

I’m impressed by the build quality, and out of the box playability. My minor disappointment is there’s wood/glue fragments loose inside the guitar that Im having a heck of a time clearing.

I’m very pleased with the quality, appearance and sound of my Morgan Live guitar. Got a lot of bang for my buck. My friends like it to. Would buy another one.

This is a great guitar for what you pay! I do have some nitpicks however: 1) One of the tuner washers was loose upon arrival which caused a very noticeable rattle. An appropriate sized wrench made this an easy fix however. 2) The G and B strings were misaligned on the saddle. 3) I noticed buzzing coming from the battery compartment. The only fix I found was to remove the battery, which completely stopped the buzzing. 4) There was fret buzz out of the box, but a slight adjustment of the action mostly fixed that right up. 5) The nut on the headstock is slight misaligned, where one end sticks out more than the other. Despite the minor gripes, this guitar is lovely. It is visually stunning. It sounds beautiful and the mahogany offers plenty of warm tones. The solid top makes notes resonate beautifully. Some new strings could go a long way. It’s versatile for all play styles. The matte finish makes maneuvering the neck feel butter smooth. I bought it based on what I heard about its playability and I was not let down. I compare the action to an electric guitar; very light on the fingers and barre chords are a breeze, which cannot be said for some other acoustic guitars that I’ve tried in this price range. I’ve heard people say this is a great beginner guitar, but as someone who has played for the last 8 years, I can say it is just as good for more experienced guitarists. If you can ignore some minor issues in build quality, you will be very pleased by the sound and playability of this guitar!
