These plates aren't magic. It's not like this is going to make your L-TEK feel like an arcade pad. But for the price, and how much they improve an L-TEK, I can't complain. I have an L-TEK that is about 1.5 years old. The lack of springiness in my sensors was really bad to the point that it was almost unusable. I had to hit the pad harder, I had to get better at center-stepping, notes would register late, and hold notes would drop regularly. I bought these plates trying to save myself from spending more money buying replacement sensors that I'd have to solder on. After installing the plates, I could actually use my pad again. I was worried that it would be too sensitive or that it wouldn't work well, but it's actually pretty good. The one downside is that I can feel the plate under the sensor, so it feels a bit awkward when I land on the corners where the plate doesn't cover. I've been using them for about a month now, and I'd probably install these again in a new pad if I ever had to replace the whole thing.
