As a red seal carpenter who works in northern communities doing docks and framing, I can tell you these pants are absolute money. Lightweight, highly breathable and durable feeling. If you think you're a 34.5 in normal pants, do yourself a favor and size up. The knee pads that slide in are very comfortable and much better than the standard pads.
