Compo™ 4L Stone Food Waste Caddy

Simple and well-made

I'd been looking for a receptacle for my kitchen compost and had never heard of Joseph Joseph before I found this in a web search. It's just the right size for me and really well made. The handle doesn't get in the way of the lid or the really easy-to-install/use mount, which has allowed me to save limited counter space and tuck this away under my sink.

The compo Food Waste Caddy sits tidily next to our kitchen sink and is ready for veggie and fruit scraps when prepping for dinner. It goes out into our compost every couple of days. Much better than using plastic bags as we previously used before getting the caddy.

I have been using this for about two weeks. It was easy to install, holds a reasonable amount, and is easy to clean. I like that it is stored behind a cabinet door, helping me keep counters clean of clutter. It is easy to pull out and put on my countertop when I want to add food scraps like potato peels and then place back on the inside of a cupboard door.
