I'm a dental assistant with sensitive hearing and ears and these help reduce strain significantly. They fit in snugly and reduce the ultrasonic and suction sounds very well while not removing your ability to hear spoken words - only muffling slightly. I personally get a bit sore from plugs in for 8+ hours, but these really are quite comfortable and only cause a small amount of overall discomfort compared to other non-specific plugs. Takes a little adjusting to them to make sure you're speaking at an audible volume, and your colleagues may need to adjust and speak a little louder also depending on how loud your clinic is. Definitely recommend!
