Great
This is my second one, I love them. With this filter I have drank out of creeks from the desert to the high country. I have also dipped it in some stagnant old cattle ponds and never got sick.

Heavy duty!
These canteens are made tough! This is the way to go when your out there. I have two, one for my wife.

Good USGI Canteen Upgrade
Overall it is a well designed and manufactured product that is essential for drinking water from questionable sources. It is also a practical upgrade from the standard USGI canteen and water purification tablets. The canteen has a wide mouth that can be cleaned with a bottle brush if required, and is made of flexible plastic that is thinner than USGI canteens by design. This is because the ADVANCED filter works fine but requires squeezing the canteen to maximize water flow, which is slower than a normal drink from an unfiltered canteen. The canteen fits all USGI MOLLE canteen covers and some but not all, USGI and aftermarket ALICE canteen covers. See photos. Some of my ALICE covers were too tight at the mouth, but this cover fit fine. Staying healthy is worth the price, and the water tastes better too.
