Great retention and easy draw

I got this holster to go with my chest pouch that I use for hiking. I love that the retention is adjustable so you can choose the balance of security vs ease of draw. When I first received it, the retention was way tighter than I’d ever set it which lets me know that as the holster wears I’ll always have enough room for adjustment. I was a bit unsure how well the Velcro would work at first due to the shape of the holster; however, after testing it quite a few times, I’m confident that it will hold. The shape also seems to hold the grip just far enough off the pack that it makes it very easy to get your hand around it.
