Ethiopian Opal Luxe Cocktail Necklace for Amazing Mom

Necklace is gorgeous. It is exactly as pictured. It is made with a high-quality cord for daily wear.

The opal itself is stunning. The necklace came with the stone glued down to paper backing to keep in place. When attempting to remove the sticky glue from the stone, it left a residue on the opal that I cannot for the life of my rub off and now I seem to be left with a beautiful translucent stone clearly covered in this glue sludge. I dont want to use any chemicals on it for the opal properties. It seems petty, but it is really annoying.

It’s absolutely beautiful, don’t get me wrong. The opal was a creamy white, just as I had requested, but it was small. I ended up returning because the stone was so small it did not weigh enough to hold the cord down. It ended up kind of floating around my neck. I wish I would’ve weighed enough to hold the cord down because it really is a pretty piece.
