7/8" Silver & Deming HSS Drill Bit

Good for the price

I ordered several S&D bits up to 1" and they did put holes in 1/2" steel plate starting with a 1/4" pilot hole. They don't hold up as well as my "good" bits, but they're much easier on the wallet. When resharpened they are as good as they were new. I will pass over these if I'm drilling 316L SS, but for mild steel or aluminum they're just fine.
