Three step burr use for wood carving

I have used this burr to rough out carvings. I first outlined the carving with a hand held carving tool then use a small carving burr to make a deeper impression in the wood. Then, I use this burr to create the outline and make a deeper impression. You should note that this burr is very aggressive so you need to go slow to control its cuts! This burr will take out a lot of wood very quickly and will create your final outline and depth of cut. The final step will be to sand the cut to make it smoother and fix any mis-cuts!
