Maui 1961 Shaded Relief Map

MY HOME

As someone born and raised in Maui, this particular map "speaks to me " in a way no other one does. Just seeing it evokes memories and emotions. The 3 D illusion and shaded reliefs gives the feeling the island is "alive" on paper. Even more impressive is the shadow cast over the island of the sunrise from the east dormant volcano, Haleakala,(House of the Sun). Nice to see an accurate map of Maui county including Kahoolawe, Lanai, and Molokai. Came in a walnut frame, on good quality paper, very detailed, highlighting places and towns only a local would know! A beautifully designed and executed map! My compliments to those involved.
