Victorian Door Knocker | Solid Brass

Beautiful door knocker, but installation was not as hoped and required additional purchases. The fixing bolts are very long and despite the website saying they can easily be cut, this isn't the case and so we had to buy replacement bolts of the correct size. It would be good to have been offered different length options. Also the striking plate is stepped so doesn't lie flat against the door as they normally do so this stops the knocker from hanging straight, and so we had to buy a counter-sink drill bit to get this sorted out. All rather inconvenient.

We moved into our Edwardian house last year and wanted a traditional door knocker for our newly painted front door and this brass one is perfect!
