Just in time

I was working on a block that required the joining of several seams into one point on a star. While I often use a clapper when pressing this tool made my joinings so flat. I have sewn for 60 years but never needed a wheel before.

I had a different wooden brand that worked great but this Clover one is easier for my wrist manage.

Good for a quick press

I'm not usually one to press my seams manually, but working on the Alaska Rainbow quilt with just about every seam off-grain, a pressing tool such as this was recommended to prevent distortion. I also rarely press my seams open and that was also recommended for this quilt. The Clover Roll and Press was very helpful, and I will continue to use it.
