Amazing product but no tracking on three orders and delayed email responses
I’ve loved Bhakti Chai since the founder, Brook Eddy, was my landlord and neighbor way back in 2005. I would pour a mason jar from her fridge and leave $5 on the counter! 😂 I love the spicy ginger and depth of flavors whether paired with cow, coconut, soy, or almond milk. I left Colorado in 2012 but bought the single-serve bottles in Chicago and now Nashville from Whole Foods. However, Whole Foods no longer carries it. So, I started buying the quarts off Bhakti’s website about six months ago. Rather, I tried, but it was out of stock. About a month later, I noticed it was back and purchased six quarts. After about a week, I still hadn’t received any email saying it had shipped, so I emailed. In that time, the package showed up on my doorstep out of nowhere. Although I was glad, without tracking, it could have been spoiled in the sun or stolen. It took two full weeks to get a response to my email, which is unacceptable. As much as I love the product, I’ve worked in customer service for 25 years, and that is a super bad look. The rep apologized about no tracking and said they would alert the team of the issue. I had hoped it was a glitch, but it happened with my second and third orders. I should add that under my purchase history, none of my three orders show as fulfilled either. The last time I contacted Bhakti, it took a week to hear back. I essentially was told that I wouldn’t ever receive tracking for my orders and to email that person directly after buying anything to have them follow up and send me the tracking number. At the end of the day, this is bizarre and way too much of a hassle. I had been drinking Bhakti ever morning my first two orders. After that baffling, delayed response, I started drinking the six quarts in the third order way less. I still have one quart from a few months ago left but basically stopped drinking it due to the repeated lack of tracking and poor customer service.
