Herbal cacao tea is made from the roasted husks and nibs of theobroma cacao beans. Theobroma cacao, meaning "food of the gods", is rich in antioxidants & serotonin-boosting theobromine, an alkaloid similar to, but less intense than, caffeine.

Delicious Cacao Tea

A friend highly recommended this tea, so I had to try it. I followed the instructions, but one tablespoon was not enough for the flavor I wanted. I told my friend who told me she brews two tablespoons. It was no longer weak and was so much more delicious! I added too many drops of monkfruit liquid sweetener which made it too sweet. This tea requires a VERY small amount of sweetener if you want that. Yum! I am a happy camper!
