I purchased the personalized MyFly carryon bag for my mom in 2017 as a birthday present as we were taking her on a cruise Dec. 2017. It arrived and it was beautiful! She loved her bag as it pictured all of her kids and grandkids. Took it on the cruise and all was well. Fast forward to 2025… she travelled again with her bag. She had to check her bag as it was too big to be a carry-on according to the airline. Travel to her destination with her carryon checked was fine; no issues. However, travel back home on the same airline was horrible as they damaged her bag (broke the wheel and wheel carriage off)! She was sooo upset. I reached out to Luggage Pros to see if there was a way to fix it. Unfortunately it didn’t appear to be fixable based on the pictures but Jodie recommended we take it to a luggage repair shop to see. I wanted so badly to fix this issue for my mom. I started scrambling trying to find the same pictures or even newer ones to repurchase the bag for her. At the same time, I reached back out to Luggage Pros and asked if it were possible that they had the order I placed in 2017 which includes the images that were on her 2017 bag. Jodie told me to give her some time to look; after all that was almost 8 years ago ( I was having a hard time finding replacement images). I was frantic to say the least. Luggage Pros found my 2017 images!! I was able to purchase and replace my mom’s beloved bag because they found the 2017 images. The new MyFly is smaller than the 2017 bag, which Jodie said would be the case (changes in airline policies). However, I am glad it is smaller because that means it would decrease the chance of her having to check her bag next time she flies; she’ll remain in possession of her bag which should prevent damage by the airline ( fingers crossed). My mom was so happy to receive her new bag and said it brought tears to her eyes. I am forever grateful to them for helping me replace my mom’s bag. Customer service is top tier! They went above and beyond to help me when most companies would have referred to their policy and stopped responding. They took the time to look for my 2017 order!! They took the time to help me fix a problem that wasn’t caused by my mom but was caused by the airline. THEY TOOK THE TIME!!! I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
