Garden Box Armor™ Plant Based-FDA Food Contact Safe Raised Bed Garden Sealer

I used Garden Box Armor on three cedar planter boxes that my son built for me. Two coats were applied, working in small sections, and wiped after 5 minutes as instructed. The boxes look nice and the finish is dry and not at all sticky.

This stuff applies well and hopefully will do the trick, only time will tell. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the confusion the company brings to the table. The website and bottle have different directions for dry time. The coverage is about 1/2 of what they claim on the bottle if your wood is dried. We used it on wood we torched and brushed. They also do everything possible to NOT tell you what is in this stuff. As a side note, there are a lot of people on Amazon who say it smells and their clothes get ruined. My wife and I both used this and got it all over. A wash cycle with lysol sanitizer in it and there is no smell at all. It repels rain as we've seen, I just can't comment on longevity.

First time using this product. Easy application and clean up. Very thin and aromatic. Applied 2 coats to cedar which really brought out the natural colors and accentuated the wood grain. By applying this annually, I hope that it will extend the life of my planters.
