I’ve been using the Black Bayou™ 905 for targeting yellow commons and buffalo carp at pay-lakes across South Carolina and North Carolina, and I’ve been really impressed. This rod has the perfect blend of strength and sensitivity—it’s got the backbone to handle hard runs from big fish, but still lets me feel subtle pickups. The 7'6" length gives me great casting distance, and the fast action makes setting the hook quick and reliable. It's clear this rod was built with quality in mind—it feels solid and performs smoothly under pressure. This rod is perfect for throwing my big swimbaits, A rigs, and a my glide baits. Used it for the first time this weekend and it handled like a dream. Has just a fast enough tip for making it easy to cast and the backbone to drive it home.
