Made in Taiwan

The quality seems like they will be fine but it's just disheartening to see the made in taiwan sticker on the poles and the made in china sticker on the skis. I want to support Canada but it's tough when the "canadian company" simply outsources to China. I know it's common for companies to do it but typically ski companies make their equipment in their country of origin. I did some more research and found Ferreol skis that are made in quebec that I'll likely go with in the future to truly support Canadian

Great, well thought out & sturdy poles

What more does one need in a fixed pole?! Not much. Not much at all.

Sad reduction in quality

The straps are like shoelaces compared to the pair that these are replacing. 1/2” Velcro is going to last a season at best. Straps are very large (and I’m a 6’3” man), so much so that I’ll have to sew on more Velcro to be able tighten rhem enough. Baskets are also significantly smaller and don’t snap together.
