Nice looking shoe!

just bought these for an upcoming trip to Scotland, been there before so I know it rains a lot! These look like a pretty sturdy well built shoe, pretty much a slip on, but since they're new I find it easier to untie the laces first. I'm sure that will change over time. I am normally a size 7.5 but ordered an 8 and they are not too loose. I'm going to wear them around and take them on another upcoming trip before the big trip.. I wish they were a little less expensive, but if they hold up and actually keep my feet dry they will be worth it. Also like the dark gray color, didn't want black or white so this is perfect!!

wide toe box

The toe box is wide, which is important to me so my whonky toes don't rub together. My only concern is the rather long "tongue", I get that this will prevent rain from getting into the shoe but since its abnormally long it rubs my ankle, hoping it doesn't cause any sores.

Basically just a wrong size. I have never worn this brand .

These are my normal size, but they seem a little short with a narrow toe bed. I don’t have time before my trip to exchange, so I may try to stretch the toe bed with a rolled up damp cloth. If you have a better idea, please tell me.
