The newest batch comes very very nice ootb, and i was pleasantly surprised. Of course there is consistency issues with different puzzles, but each individual pyraminx is very good. As my old batch died, i was hoping this would be a good replacement. After removing a tip magnet, removing the washers, tensioning, and lubing with weight 5, it turned into a fast, light, and clacky pyra. It can be a little hard to control sometimes, but that is mainly a problem with my turning style. When it works, it works very well. I got a 1.12 pb2 ao12 within a week of receiving it. I haven't had a chance to test it in competition yet, but i trust that some of my issues with undershooting will be fixed. Overall, i would recommend the ylm over any pyraminx on the market. It is a great starter option ootb, but also can be improved even further with minimal effort.

This is such a good puzzle honestly. I went from disliking the event to absolutely loving it after I bought this. Especially with the Ezra mod, this is easily the best pyraminx on the market.

Great Puzzle After Some Work

Really great after set up. Lubing and ezra mod made the pyraminx a whole lot better. Super plush and smooth and fun to solve. Definitely grab if you want a cheap good pyraminx and are able to mod it a bit.
