Direct Fit Mount Location

Mounted on 2025 Ram Laramie 3500 - Installed the DFM and didn't care for the location on the driver's side - location puts the phone right behind the column shifting lever. Couldn't put the truck into or out of gear without knocking the phone off the mount. I tried to modify it to move it up higher but took too much off of bracket and made it unstable and unreturnable. In my opinion not the right fit for this truck as it came up as on option when I identified by truck, It might possibly ok for a truck that has the knob shifter but should be stated somewhere? None of the pictures or video show the shifter on the column with the large screen option - I didn't notice this until I went back and looked at the web page again. I ordered the Dodge Ram New Body 2019+ (Large Screen Only) - Overland Device/Phone Mount this worked great. I also ordered the Course Motorsports Magnetic Wireless Induction Charger - MagSafe Compatible which isn't working correctly. On my iPhone, with or without the protective case it will not stay charging - it starts and stops and actually drains the phone's battery faster. I added the steel ring to the back of the iPhone and to the interior side of the phone case - still the same. I sent an email regarding this issue waiting on a response.

While the placement and ease of mounting the bracket is good the ballmount is to small for the plastic ring to tighten and hold the magnet in place. Even with the plastic screw on bracket all the way tighten the magnet moves freely. I was able to work around this by wrapping a small piece of fabric around the ball and then putting on the screw on bracket. Not what I'd expect for a bracket at this price piint.
