The size is really nice and they look very different then the Staunton style standard chess pieces. I just fee the weight of the pieces is too light and I wish they were havier and thats why the 4 stars instead of 5.

4.7 Pre-Staunton Chess Chess

This chess set is fantastic. We have already put it to use and have enjoyed using them in games. They are a great addition to our 18th century living history group.
