The YuXin HuangLong 12x12 is the smallest 12x12 currently avaialble, but just by a couple millimeters. But the rounded off corners make the puzzle feel smaller and more manageable. Give this puzzle a try if you're brave enough!

Great puzzle, smaller than expected
I probably could’ve looked at the measurements before ordering… but I was surprised to see that it is significantly smaller than the YuXin Huanglongs I have from 9x9-11x11. At first I wasn’t thrilled about the significant decrease in size. However, after nearly a 2 hour solve over the course of a couple days, I realized how the smaller size is actually extremely helpful for “manageability” of the puzzle while solving. Much less cumbersome than the 11x11 and so forth. The turning is excellent, no lockups, and I’d definitely recommend buying this 12x12 if you want one.

Pretty smooth
I recently bought this along with the 13x13. The 13x13 was pretty stiff but this one is noticeably faster. Ootb they both had a similar feeling of smooth but a bit stiff. The 12x12 is the faster of the two, and after break in, turned out pleasantly smooth with just the right amount of resistance. The only downside of this puzzle is that it is easy to get lockups on. This is a truly amazing cube and if you had to choose between this and the 13x13, I would recommend the 12x12.
