I do a lot of groundfishing in and around Long Island Sound, and the squinnow has really increased my success when seabass are in deeper water in the summer. Gets to the bottom quick and holds there, great colors, all-around winner for me

Works for striped bass as well!

I use the squinnow jig for stripers with great success. When the bass are on live squid and uninterested in diamond jigs the squinnow works great! Mike is local and knows what works on the Cape, use his stuff they work!

the medicine for black sea bass

Fishing for black sea bass out of Virginia Beach, I sometimes catch larger numbers on a double dropper with squid-- but they tend to be undersized. Switching to the Squinnow and teasers changed the ratio immediately. Almost all keepers. Fishing in 100-200 feet of water, I just go with the size that's about a gram per foot of depth.
