An important battle during WW II that is, sadly, not as well known as it should be. Commemorative items, such as this, do something to possibly make future generations aware of the skill and patriotism of those who went before. It is not much, but at a time when nothing, seemingly, is being done to venerate such heroism, it is something real, more than just a tea mug.
