I bought 40g ones to jig from the shore for flat fishes and salmon. Haven't tried yet but definitely looking very fishy. I moved the assist hook from tail to head and added barbless hook on the tail so I can use it from shore

I purchased a few 30g jigs to try for lake trout in the 80 to 100 fow range. The jigs worked well on the trout even though they were originally designed for saltwater species like grouper. Good flutter action and the 30g jig match the forage size well. Would recommend adding an inline single to the rear of the jig to catch short strikers.
