TOPPING D10s DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter)

Great DAC and usb bridge.

A great little dac that produces a clean and transparent sound. The ability to provide analog and digital outputs provides a lot of flexibility that means it will always have a place whether feeding a sound bar, headphones or a traditional stereo system.

D10s gets an "A"

The D10s is easy to use (plug and play) and produces excellent sound. Given that the D10s can also convert USB audio to S/PDIF (optical and coaxial), this DAC is unique and presents a cost to performance ratio that is excellent. I also love that I can tell the frequency of the audio being converted (high-res or not) at a glance.

Amazing quality for price

Two things: 1) The USB power filtering is not that good as the noise from my PC's motherboard (X370 Taichi) leaks through. Using a USB Y-cable with the power pins blocked on the PC end and powering the DAC with a phone charger solves the issue. 2) I can only hear an almost imperceivable hiss when my SMSL SP200 is turned up to the highest volume hooked up to my HD 6XX.
