LB Collection® Superwash Merino Yarn

Love this soft merino

I ordered some of this yarn to try it out and really liked it. It's beautiful and soft and works up very nicely. Although it can be a little splitty, that just forces me to slow down a little and enjoy the process. I like the colors that I got and the stitch definition that this gives. My only drawback is the pricing. I placed my order on July 18th and the retail price was $14.99. After I had received my order and fell in love with the yarn, I went online to order some more on July 27th, only to find that in the 9 days since I had placed my order, the retail price had jumped to $19.99. I had originally tried this yarn to supplement my favorite DK superwash merino yarn (from another company) that had recently discontinued some of their colors. With this price jump, I will only be able to occasionally purchase this yarn when I can find a substantial discount so I may have to keep searching for a different superwash merino to get the colors that I'm looking for.

My first project with superwash merino. Very nice to work with. Soft, not wooly feeling. Good stitch definition with a C2C pattern. A little expensive. But I only made a wrap so it wasn’t too bad. Pretty taupe color.

Great quality at this price point

The yarn is soft and springy; a delight to handle! The twist is nice and tight. I think it will knit up beautifully with no annoying splitting on the needles. I purchased to make a baptismal gown set. I believe this yarn will make a nice enough item to keep for generations without breaking the bank.
