I'm very pleased with Homespun yarn. Over the years I have crocheted many items with this yarn for gifts. Mixed Berries is one of my favorite colors.

Slippery yarn
It is a beautiful dual color yarn but I find it very difficult to work with. I have tried various hooks sizes and brands with little success. I do have arthritic hands. I find it slippery and difficult to hold the proper tension. I will have to get more patience to work with this yarn. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Love Lion Brand yarns. As I have been happy with several other kits I have purchased from Lion Brand.

Comfy
I have used this yarn to create over a hundred comfy, warm prayer shawls. They are created to celebrate happy milestones and to provide comfort to those who have suffered a loss. Many recipients have commented on the softness of the yarn and mentioned that though the yarn is lightweight it provides warmth. Three skeins are needed to complete this project. I value the wide variety of colors that are available.
I wish the warm was available in stores as it once was and I wish there were not quite so many knots that need to be worked around.
