It is what it says, an oil slick finished seat post. Construction seems to be good quality, color is very nice, two bolt clamp works great. Matched it to the rainbow sparkle 4130 All-Road I bought for my wife a few years ago.

Careful with carbon railed saddles

the standard oval railed saddles will sometime not work with this seat post. I was unable to get it level.
