XL Nutrition XTRA Whey 2kg

Taste was excellent. Mixed well with cacao tjat i use. Additionally very tasty in coconut chocolate protein brownies. Great rodicts from Discount Supplements & XL Nutrition.

New but definitely not improved

I've been buying XL Nutrition's whey protein for years now and it is reliable, very well priced and inspires confidence by having the GMP (good manufacturing practice) mark present. Sadly, however, the "new and improved" flavours are definitely NEW but absolutely not IMPROVED. If anything they've taken a step down in terms of quality on that front; now everything tastes too rich or sweet, to the point where you can find yourself being knocked sick. Thus far I have tried 3 flavours where this applies... Chocolate, vanilla and cookies and cream. I did plan to use the subscribe and save option with these but due to their taste I am loathe to try any more currently, so it may well be having to go to another brand after these 3 are exhausted.

Ordered banana flavour and it tastes terrible hardly any flavour a consistency is thick and a bit powdery when mixed. I only tried this protein as discount supplements kept pushing it saying I was over paying for optimum nutrition, wish I stuck to optimum nutrition now, waste of money as u won’t be consuming the rest. Avoid cheap protein brands as you get what you pay for.
