The gloves seem very well thought out and seem to be very tough. They broke in fairly easily with moderate use. Reason for less than 5 stars is when mine arrived I had a small nub in the web of my pointer finger where about 4 layers of leather came together and was creating a strong bit of pressure making the glove almost unwearable, after some trimming I got them to be wearable at least but still not great. I’m assuming this is not normal as the other side was very comfy.

Okay but not great

I ordered two sets of gloves one a medium for the wife and a XL for me. The wife’s gloves are just fine with no issues. The XL gloves looks like they are seconds, the left glove the thumb looks deformed and the maker mark is barely visible. The right glove the index finger stitching runs over the top of the knuckle and not very comfortable. I realize there’s a break-in point but for now it’s quite painful.

Thick and comfortable

I do a lot of ranch work--fencing, cutting wood, hauling--and need gloves that are thick enough to stand up to thistle thorns and rough wood, but pliable enough for me to grab onto things. These gloves are perfect for all the jobs!
