Not for the PNW

The jacket is not water proof. It becomes waterlogged when the weather gets wet. If it rains, the jacket turns into a sponge. Both of my kids had to wear it as it was the team uniform. Is definitely unsuitable for the PNW.

Perfect introduction to ski racing apparel for my 6 year old

My daughter is 6 and a half and on the smaller size (in the 25-50% range for height and weight). The size 6 Junior Blaster Parka is a great size for her, fitting a little roomy but she loves it and it looks very stylish on the mountain. She wants to wear it everywhere! It looks as if it will surely last 2 years. This is clearly a high-quality garment and while I scoffed initially at the price, I do appreciate the attention to detail and how it fits and functions. My somewhat arbitrary impression is that this would be a steal at <$150, a great value at $150-200, accurately priced at $200-250, and slightly overpriced at $250-300.

Sync Junior Blaster

Overall, we're happy with the SYNC Junior Blaster jackets. They're warm, durable, fit well and are embroidered with our team's logos. For the price, I'd like to see a pass pocket added, better zippers that don't slide down so easily and better waterproofing.
