Great equipment poor app

The app is far from intuitive and does not seem to work, dates all measurements on January 1st 1070 despite the meter being correctly set up, this might be because my phone is set up with European dates DD mm.yy rather than MM.DD.YY. Equipment works and is simple just what I want, hope the app gets there as well.
