Carentan leeks are an excellent addition to dishes that need an extra oniony zest. This European plant has high yields. Tender white stems grow 8.5 inches long and 2 inches wide. Leaves are a medium dark green.

These have the flavor that full grown onions wish they had. Never had a problem with germination either.

Leek

I bought these as an option to the scallion microgreens. Seed looks similar and grows similar. Cutting them has the crisp smell of onion or leek. Taste is very mild. They are very light in weight. Germinating rate is very good. Almost all germinated.( which is 100% better than the leaks I bought elsewhere for a regular garden)
