Prosumer review: Powerful device, great support

I'm a "prosumer", and an AI recommended me this device for a home setup. It was a very good suggestion, though I would have been out of my depth without guidance from AI and, more importantly, tech support from Netgate to "finish the job" that AI couldn't do. Compared to my prior Netgear router, this has nearly an order of magnitude more granularity of options, which can be a little dangerous for someone like me, but now that it's set up it is working great. The "lite" version tech support that came with the purchase was excellent--very responsive, 24/7. Also kudos on a very detailed support site, with lots of screenshots. The only caveat is for people in my situation--migrating from consumer to more professional--is to be aware of the technical and philosophical differences. For example, there is no "auto-update" feature, which is intentional.

Netgate 2100

Working great so far. I want to share my experience with importing configurations from Netgate 1100 to 2100. When I did that Netgate 2100 did not start. I had to factory reset and apply the configs manually. I wasted a couple of hours trying to troubleshoot. My advise is to avoid that tob save time and have better experience.
