Works well. Great value. Only complaint is interfacing with it. Explorstars software works via Wi-Fi only on my Windows laptop. Stellarium works through Ascom via USB cable only.

Excellent Budget Mount

I bought this mount when on special and was very pleasantly surprised and impressed by its capabilities. With the ASIair controlling I get perfect go-tos and have had as much as 25lbs total on this mount doing planetary wok with an ASI662MC and a C6XLT OTA. I regularly use it with a Svbony SV503 80ED and it supports this configuration easily with sub arc-second guiding after proper polar alignment. Overall, it is a solid mount but needs a heavier tripod, the Azimuth Adjuster and a heavier counter-weight. I use a 7.5lb Skywatcher weight along with the two smaller supplied weights as necessary keeping the center of gravity as close to the mount as possible.
