Karl Foerster Grass

Plants arrived as expected, nice shape. Planted four on a northern exposure foundation bed. They have taken off and looking well. Used an organic fertilizer for a starter.

Pull the roots apart & add root rocket when planting

I purchased 4 Karl Forester grass. I’m a beginner gardener and forgot to massage the roots and make sure to pull them apart upon planting. By the last plant, I pulled the roots and added root rocket. I watered hard for 2 weeks and will continue with upcoming triple digit temps.

Many plants arrived completely destroyed. I bought them from this site because I thought I would receive healthy, thriving, established plants - not something from the clearance end of season discount walmart selection. So expensive and a complete waste of money. Now I know and now you know.
