Bean Seeds - Black Garbanzo - Organic - Microgreens

Seeds smelled like moldy socks in the 5 lb bag. Mold grew on seeds and soil when sprouting (When other seeds types of seeds grown at the same time and way grew no mold). Tasting the healthy upper portion of sprouts with no mold. . . the sprouts made my mouth flesh burn unpleasantly. Will no get again.

Low germination rate.

Only 1 out of 12 plants germinated. Soaked seeds overnight before direct planting in garden in ideal temperature conditions. The plant looks healthy and is growing quickly. No beans yet because it's young.

Black Garbanzo beans were a hit!

The Black garbanzo beans I bought at Trueleafmarket were quite delicious; I did not take them to the microgreen stage, but instead sprouted them in a mix with regular garbanzo beans and red lentils. It was an absolutely delicious mix, the black garbanzo's being slightly sweeter than regular garbanzo. The germination rate was also quite good. Trueleaf offers superb seeds.
