It’s a great leash. I also have the matching collar, which I like as well. The orange is a nice shade. The handle has neoprene padding. I also like the locking carabiner. The width is .75 inches. Not quite an inch, but it’s still strong

I can’t say enough about how amazing this leash is. I love that it has the locking option that ensures that it stays on the collar. The lock is also super easy to turn on and off. I also LOVE the colour. Do not forget to get the matching collar. I have a west highland terrier weighing 16 pounds and this fits perfectly. For the collar I got size small.
