Romany Sport sea kayak

First things first. I couldnt have had a better buying experience. Over and over I have heard people recommend Roger to me and suggest I pick up an NDK boat. One of the nicest humans I have met in a long time. Very giving of his time and advice. Coming from 3 years of paddling Oru Kayak Coast XT 2018s I was assured by plenty of research and a tonne of youtube videos that the Romany Sport was what I was looking for. The first thing I noticed with the boat compared to the Orus was is how responsive it is. I could call it tippy but that would give the wrong impression. The Oru boats have a flat hull and angles so getting it on edge is easy and you get to a point and feel it tell you no more. So the smoothness of the edging in the Romany sport was noticeable straight away. Compared to my other boats it turns on a sixpence. I think that is going to take a bit of getting used to. Very very cool. The boat is built to be bullet proof and it feels that way. Only downside is it is heavier than my other boats and now I have seen Rogers transparent coated Lattitude I fear I will have to tell the wife there is another boat coming. I will 100% be buying more gear from Roger and definitely my next NDK boat.

Being new to paddlesports I was immediately overwhelmed by the wide choice available out there when it came to buying a kayak suitable to my needs and budget .Roger came very highly recommend and didn’t disappoint in the slightest. , he painstakingly took the time to get me comfortable and correctly fitted in a kayak while sharing a few priceless tips from his vast wealth of kayaking knowledge along the way . The NDK built kayak is in my opinion the best boat for Irish conditions and I look forward to many years of enjoyment in the knowledge that I got off the best possible start .
