This outer belt is excellent for competition because it is rigid and keeps it's form no matter the load on it. I have used it in one, and two-guns competition and it can hold double stack and AR15 mags with no problems. It is built solidly and holds its looks for years. The locking holds keep their shape and don't open up no matter how often you put it on and off. The outer belt combined with the inner belt allows you to have multiple outer belts with different arrangements and just change the outer belt when changing guns or set up in the same day or competition. It's like plug and play when you change guns.

Quality, tough, still going strong!
Excellent belt, held up for a strong 8 years and still will be my PCC rig after a got a new Safariland ELS for 3-gun.
